United is really in for something great, up to so far the team’s performance is very impressive, Played 14 games, won 12 and drawn 2. United is eyeing for the NFD promotion and its every local team’s dream to reach the high level of football. One step at a time from ABC Motsepe to NFD then top to PSL

If how you begin really determines how you finish, and if confidence means all, then United’s dreams is soon to become reality. The chairmen, players and fans are completely sure that this is their season, but then Pitso Mosimane once said “is not about how you begin but how you end”. United is fortunate enough to have once experienced play-offs as they were part of them in 2012/2013 season they now know what is expected of them. However the heat was too much for them to handle, got knocked off and NFD dream was shattered.   United’s preparations are on point; they clearly show that they are ready; having made new signings, just like an army when you prepare for a war more powerful soldiers are expected. “NFD is where i see my team and i know we will win the play-offs, I say so because am sure that we will win the league this season”. said Mlungisi Nkosi. There’s still 16 games remaining but United is very sure that with their current performance they will accomplish their NFD aim.

Mbombela United Trash MP Highlanders

Mbombela United gave their fans the best valentine gift ever when they trashed MP Highlander, no: 16 on the log table with 1 point 9-0 at Kanyamazane stadium in the afternoon of valentine as they wore a red and white jersey.

Fans came out massively to show their support and love,  who could blame them for putting so much effort when the team is so far doing good, remaining on the number one spot with 38 points, so far 14 games no loose. United’s starting line-up included the team’s top names: Mlungisi, Sinethemba “Nsimbi”, Victor and Patjie who could forget the boy who gave swallows defenders hell of a match in the 2013/2014 Nedbank cup last32. Nsimbi fired an opening goal in the early minutes and scored his brace 10min after his first goal. Phetulo made it 3-0 right after half time. The Xhosa boy was in it for goals as he scored a hat-trick to make it 4-0. Patjie made it 5-0 minute before he got substituted. Nsimbi found the net and made it 6-0 with his 4th goal of the match, if you thought its only Christiano you clearly got it wrong local boys holds such capabilities. Mthobisi came in from the bench to score two consecutive goals, as Mbombela led 8-0. Msizi concluded when he made it 9-0 for United. Winning side chairmen Skhumbuzo Matsebula was filled with humongous joy written all over his face as he smiled during and after the game, seems like the boys were on the track he wanted them to be. Sinethemba was very happy with his performance even the blind could have seen that. He said “I will do more and show my capabilities, as for goals more are coming.” This gift was indeed highly appreciated by the fans following the team’s crucial away 1-0 win over Young Highlander. 14 February 2015 will forever remain a remarkable day in the hearts of the Mbombela lovers, just like the Oscar Pistorius story, it might have happened 2 years ago but the country still talks about it.

The big game postponed

Evidence Mahlalela

A game that was scheduled for Saturday 21 at Kamhlushwa stadium will no longer take place due to the Nedbank Cup clash. Mbombela United was supposed to visit their biggest competitor Phiva Young Stars at their home, however Nedbank shattered that dream.
The United’s side couldn't have wanted this game set for another day than this Saturday with the winning momentum the team is currently holding. There’s no doubt that this match was going to be a blast, after all Phiva would have wanted to regain their dignity and make their fans proud after their loss on Friday. The two have clashed for several times and turns out that is either a draw or Mbombela triumph.
Phiva struggled to beat united in league games and only won once on penalties when the two clashed on the Nedbank Cup 2014/2015 qualifiers.   Most fans wish the game was not postponed because it’s a big game and they were ready for it. If they talk about a derby you got to see this one, this is the kind of game that leaves fans devastated. It’s indeed a game of football involving different emotions. Out of all games both sides awaits for the big moment of clashing against each other. When the two giants clash the stadium capacity will tell you that indeed these are giants with massive supporters. Fans will have to wait for SAFA to announce the new date for the match, till then they must remain patient.

 Mbombela United remains unbeaten

Mbombela United remains unbeaten in the 2014/2015 season of the ABC Motsepe league after their 1-0 win over Young Highlanders at Witbank High Stadium on Saturday. A tough game it was, United was very defensive on the first half while Highlanders attacked them. It was hell of a first half as both teams wanted a goal unfortunately both experienced a goalless first half. Mbombela came back attacking and forced Highlanders to defend.  It was a very emotional match indeed as both struggled for a goal until the last 10min of the game when Nkanyiso gave United 1-0 lead which was the only goal of the afternoon and winning goal for United. , highlanders became frustrated by the goal and hoped for an equaliser as they came back with more attacking power. In a blink of an eye just right after Nkanyiso scored, he got red carded for a dispute with a Highlander defender. Highlanders gave it their all till the referee blew the whistle 3 times. United chairmen was very happy with his team and with the 3points however he said “though am happy I believe they could have done better than this”
After 13 games Mbombela managed to win 11 and drawn 2 with no loose. Fans   call them Kaizer Chiefs some say Bayern Munchen has visited the 2014/2015 season of ABC Motsepe league, following the team’s performance, 13 games still unbeaten.
